Thank you for your interest in our site, you choose how much you want to spend and by way of explanation the following information may be helpful. 

 

To buy pixels on the site you can click on the 'Buy pixels' link at the bottom of this page, you can also click directly on an empty space on the home page.

 

 On the buying form you need to fill in the information requested and the amount of blocks you would like, for instance 2 X 2 blocks is 400 pixels = £40,  The price is automatically calculated at the bottom of the form, so if you saw a huge price like £4000! You know you have made a mistake!  When you are happy with information clicking the buy button. This will take you to a review for you to confirm before going to the Paypal payment procedure, where you can pay by Paypal if you have account, or by credit/debit card if not.

 

The minimum purchase is 1 block (1 block = 10 X 10 pxls =100) each block is £10 GBP. If buying a larger amount of blocks then it is wise to choose a configuration similar to the shape of your logo this will help maintain the prospective, i.e. Square 2 X 2 block or rectangular 3 X 2 block. Larger blocks can be seen more readily.

 

Alternatively, you can send us your website address, attach your image file to the email and how much that you would like to spend, we can load your picture and information on your behalf.

Pixel advertising is the biggest buzz on the internet, why? It is innovative, it works and above all it is good value for money and open to anyone with a holiday related website.

So what's different about this one? Well if you have ever looked at some of the million pixel websites as it fills up it tends to become a mish-mash of all sorts of sites with a large number shall we say unrelated content. So, this one is Holiday and Travel orientated.

Anyone with a website to do with holidays, holiday homes, travel, holiday insurance, car hire, air travel, ferries etc. can buy our pixels

Pixels are available in 'blocks' with 1 block = 100-pixels (each measuring 10x10 pixels). The homepage is divided into 10,000 of these 100-pixel blocks (hence there are 1,000,000 pixels in total). The reason for selling them in 100-pixel blocks is because anything smaller would be too small to display anything effectively!

You can buy as many pixels as you like, as long as there are some available (see the live stats in the top right corner of the page). When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website or just a few words that will show when you hover a mouse over the image i.e your phone number. However, no obscene or offensive images are allowed.

Terms and conditions

Your link must be holiday related i.e. a self catering property, bed & breakfast accommodation, hotel travel (ferry, train, airline, coach etc.) car hire, travel insurance,travel agent and so on, if you are not sure you fall into an acceptable category contact us.

• Minimum Purchase: £10.00 GBP (1 Pixel block - 10x10). Feel free to buy as many as you like.
• You are purchasing a pixel advertisement on the main page lasting 2 years .
• You are only allowed to change the Image if your site has undergone a major change. Otherwise it is final.
• No refunds once your pixel block is accepted and put on the main page.
• No obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted.
• If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show offensive/obscene/adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind for the link downtime.
• Images must be compressed and no greater than 50Kb in size (a picture should resemble the shape of you choice of pixels I.e. square or rectangular. Images must be in GIF, PNG, BMP, or JPEG format AND not animated.
• Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://
• You must have the right to use the image you provide.
• There might be occasional downtime for site maintenance but that will be kept to a minimum and will only be done when switching servers or upgrading
• Your pixels will be added within 1 working day from time of purchase.
• If we deem your image or website not to be holiday related then you will not be added, we will contact you to discuss your request and if still deemed inappropriate your money will be refunded

  PayPal

 PayPal is the ideal payment method for purchasing 100 to 1,000 pixels. Because the pixels are sold in £10.00 blocks, please ensure you order the correct quantity of blocks when ordering.

Even if you do not have a paypal account then continue the buying process and on the paypal page click “I do not have a pay pal account” button and you will be able pay by credit card.

Ordering is now done automatically through the grid selection page. To visit the grid page simply click on the on the Buy Pixels link at the bottom of this page and then on the cell that you would like to purchase. After your selection you will have the opportunity to expand your selection in height and width.
